MONEY MARKET AND CITY INTELLIGENCE . Friday Evening , July 20 . 1855 . Thb Funds have been very steady throughout the week , hardly any business havinp been transacted . The great attraction has been centred in tho Turkish 6 percent , scrip . Immediately after the settling day the stock rase 3 and 4 per Sent . ; the highest price it has attained haviner been 93 . A fortnight ago , when the Prime Minister gave his most disimnhuous answers to Mr . Ricsndo . the negotiation on tho HiDJcot of the 4 per oent . loan of five millions must have then seen going on , and people with Government information irere buying largely , they arguing that Turkey must accept iheloan , and that consequently as the 0 per cent , bondholders would have a preference , the stock was absurdly inder its value . A lance amount of stock was withdrawn
torn the market this last account , and the dealers who iave always had a prejudice to the stock , must have been lit very hard . Viewing matters at the worst , the stock s worth per cent- - £ 110 , if not more , and the inclination is lecidedly upwards . The dealers would gladly thrust it lawn , in order to recover a part of their losses . The dislussion in the House of Commons to-night will perhaps to one extent affect the market . Peruvian and Mexican have icen dealt in considerably this week , and even Venezuelan 4 B boeu inquired after . There has been an active demand for Spanish Three per teats- to-day , and . thc deferred stock is considerably higher . 'ho markets as regards railways generally dull .
