ABRIDGED PROSPECTUS ; npi-IEIeadingfeatureofthis Companyis , that it investigates JL themeritof any invention submitted to it , by the aid of scientific and practical men , selected with special regard to their qualifications , as impartial judges . Such inventions as are approved are patented or registered , and manufactured by the Company , far . sale , on a scale sufficient to establish their . value , without cost to the inventor , who will share , under agreement , in all profits arising therefrom . As an earnest of these intentions , the Managing Committee have secured a long lease , on most advantageous terms , of extensive premises , containing a spacious manufactory , provided with suitable plant , where models can be made and tried , and patented articles manufactured lor sale . Valuable patents , already arrnng-ed for , are now being so manufactured , at a nett profit of 300 per cent . ; while several very promising inventions are under consideration . The advantages thus enumerated justify the Directors in recommending the undertaking to the notice of small capitalists , as nu investment well worthy their special consideration . That the large mass of inventors are unable to carry out their designs , is n , fact patent to most practical observers . It is equally true that a grcnt number of cases only requJ . ro the judgment and kindly assistance of scientific and practical men to render them productive of immense public benefit . It is incontrovertible that our national importance and wealth have been more promoted by inventors than by any other class of men .. Arkwright , Watt ,. Cort , Stophonsoii , and others scarcely loss eminent , have produced ( in amount of wealth almost beyond calculation , though their inventions were received at ilrst with coolness and incredulity . In short , all the improvements for our convenience and comfort , dating from a state of barbarity to one of high civilisation , are but the cumulative results of inventive ingenuity . It must not bo overlooked by the Shareholder that a patent gives nn exclusive trade with tho customers of tho world , and that this Company will possons in no common decree such advnutnges as will , on tho average , be Im .-mouBoly productive , and ensure a dividend that may surprise , and must satisfy all investors . Applications for Shares , nnd full Prospectusos giving tlio Aillcat Information , to bo imidt * personally , or by letter , to the Secretary , at the Offices , as nbpve .
