Intending Life Assurers and Policy Holders in other Companies are invited to examine the rates , principles , and position of the SCOTTISH PKOVIDENT INSTITUTION for MUTUAL LIFE ASSURANCE by MODERATE PREMIUMS . The Scottish Provident Institution claims superiority over other mutual offices in the following particulars : — 1 . —Premiums at early and middle age about a fourth lower . 2 . —A more accurate adjustment of the rates of premium to the several ages . 3 . —A principle in the division of the surplus more safe , equitable , ana favourable to good lives . 4 . —Exemption from entry money .
