THE CONSERVATIVE LAND SOCIETY . —SAVINGS AND CAPITAL- —As a permanent mode of investment , tho Society has proved most profitable for the last five years to the working and middle classes ; as members who have paid their monthly subscriptions of 8 s . on a single share , have enjoyed tho advantages of the Six per cent . Bonus , and in one year Seven per cent ., which has been divided amongst the Shareholders . Those who paid in advance 5 l . and upwards , have been paid Five per cent , per annum half yearly , with the additional One per cent , at the end of the financial year . The opening instalment on one share is 12 s- 6 d ., and the subsequent payments are 8 s . per month , with Is . extra every quarter . The taking of land is quite optional , but if a plot be selected by a member , he can , after paying up one-eighth of th « purchase money , repay the balance at 10 s . per month for every 53 * . 4 s . 6 d . Members incur no partnership liability , and have the privilege of withdrawing their subscriptions at any time , by giving ten days' notice . Prospectuses sent free to any part of the world . The Offices , 33 , Norfolk-street , Strand , W . C , are open from 10 to 5 , and on Saturdays from 10 to 2 o ' clock .
